01 · The challenge

What needed to work?

The project combines vehicle drifting with survival combat, so movement and enemy pressure need to work as one gameplay loop.

02 · The approach

My contribution

I designed the core loop, implemented enemy behaviours and built the upgrade system. Different attack patterns create variety as the run becomes more difficult.

What I worked on

Key contributions

01

Designed the vehicle-combat core loop

02

Implemented enemies with distinct attacks and movement behaviours

03

Built the wave, upgrade and progression systems

04

Balanced pressure so drifting remained useful throughout a run

05

Iterated the prototype for a public Demo Day presentation

Design notes

Three concise takeaways

01

Movement is combat

Drifting is part of combat rather than a separate driving feature.

02

Distinct enemy roles

Enemies use different attack behaviours and combat patterns.

03

Build expression

The upgrade system supports progression and replayability.

03 · Outcome

A playable prototype was completed and presented at TUM Demo Day.
